In the world of private boarding high schools, many institutions focus heavily on specialization, on turning 14-year-olds who are pretty good oboe players into 18-year-olds who are enrolled in Yale on full-ride symphonic scholarships. But Thacher is different. Thacher knows that a person is a whole lot more than their alma mater. That being expected to plot your career path as a teenager is absurd. That no person’s story ends the day college acceptance letters are mailed out. This brand video was created to encourage potential Thacher families to stop and think: Which of your life’s choices will really define who you are?
